Genesis 26:1-22
“Move Out One More Time!”

The enemy has tried to keep your ministry from the provisions prophesied to you and promised by the Lord! You are a son and daughter of promise! The promise for your ministry to prosper has been looked upon with envy and resentment. The enemy has seen the anointing and blessing of the Lord upon your life and ministry, and is grieved over how well you are doing. Think it not strange that your enemy now wants your ministry out of their sight!

Although “covenant of friendships” were previously made, your enemy has set out to throw dirt and rocks to stop up the provisions promised to you by the Lord. Dirt symbolizes humiliation and contempt; Rocks are used to stone and crush to death! The dirt and rocks are meant to be obstacles to humiliate you and ultimately destroy you. There has been much warfare against your ministry as you moved into new territories. Each move you’ve made, you’ve encountered the enemy.

With the first move, you encountered those who had a “spirit of contention.” There was much discord, conflict, strife, and controversy when your ministry showed up in the enemy’s territory. Quarreling brings division. Proverbs 17:14 (NLT) states, “Beginning a quarrel is like opening a floodgate, so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out.” In other words, God has called you to walk away from “Esek” (which in Hebrew means “contention”) the name of the well Isaac had to walk away from on his journey to God’s prophetic promise.

Then with your second move, your ministry encountered a “spirit of strife.” “Sitnah” (which in Hebrew means “strife” and has the same root as Satan), is the place where you encountered Satan struggling against your ministry for superiority and victory. It was as though you were in a tug-a-war with your adversary competing against you on every hand.

But…the Lord is calling you to move out one more time! Walk away from the quarreling, the fighting, and the strife. This is your last move for you are moving to a place in the spirit called “Rehoboth!” In the Hebrew, “Rehoboth” means broad places – a place to spread out and be fruitful. The place which God has prepared for your ministry, the enemy will not interfere with it for it is a wide and spacious place! A place where your ministry will spread out and be fruitful! Your ministry will multiply and expand for the blessing of the Lord is upon this next move and every prophetic promise will be fulfilled. For every pain, every obstacle, every battle your ministry encountered your territory has now been enlarged!
